Export

Polish company data in Excel, CSV or JSON: file layout and sample

We compile exports from the Polish company database by industry and region. Every file has fifteen columns – from company name, legal form, NIP, REGON and KRS number, through address, voivodeship and industry by source category, to phone, email and website. The PKD code column is filled in only where the code is available in the source. Not every record contains every piece of information. You pay once, with no subscription.

Our own Polish database – one of the sources of our exports – as of 17 September 2026; its coverage of voivodeships is uneven (most records are from Mazowieckie), so we give the number of records for your selection before you order. We prepare exports for all of Poland. 77,135 records have at least one contact. A listed phone or email does not guarantee that the company can be reached. Detailed database status.

File layout

What the file contains

Each row is one company, each column one piece of information. The layout is the same for all industries, so you can combine several exports or load them into the same CRM template. The column identifiers in the file are Polish; the table below gives their meaning.

CSV columnNameContents
nazwa_firmyCompany namename of the business as given in the source, including the legal form designation.
forma_prawnaLegal formfor example limited liability company (sp. z o.o.), joint-stock company (S.A.), limited partnership (sp.k.), civil partnership (s.c.) or sole trader.
nipNIPtax identification number, if present in the source.
regonREGONnumber in the national official register of entities of the national economy, if present in the source.
krsKRS numbernumber in the National Court Register, if present in the source; empty for entities not entered in it, e.g. sole traders.
ulicaStreet and numberaddress of the registered office or place of business according to the source.
kod_pocztowyPostcodepostcode in the format 00-000, stored as text.
miejscowoscTownmunicipality or town from the address.
wojewodztwoVoivodeshipone of the 16 voivodeships, assigned from the address; empty where the address could not be assigned unambiguously.
powiatCountycounty (powiat) or city with county rights, for a more precise regional selection.
branzaIndustryone of the 15 b2bkontakty.pl industries, assigned for the enquiry from the source category and the PKD code where the source gives one.
pkdPKD codePKD code (2007 or 2025) only where the source gives one; in most of today’s records the field is empty.
telefonPhonepublicly listed company number in international format.
emailEmailpublicly listed general company address, usually from the company’s website.
wwwWebsiteaddress of the company website, including the protocol.

An empty field means the information was not available in the sources – we never fill it with an estimate.

Sample data

The rows below are sample data. The companies in the table and in the sample file are entirely made up to show the file layout. NIP, REGON, KRS and phone numbers are deliberately invalid, and the email addresses end with the reserved .example domain. This is neither a real extract nor contacts to be used.

In a real export every row has all fifteen columns, but not all of them are filled in. In the sample file the pkd column is deliberately empty in most rows – just as in today’s data, where the industry comes from the source category. The sample file itself uses Polish values (e.g. legal forms), as a real export does.

Technical details

Formats and technical details

The standard format is CSV in UTF-8 with BOM, with a semicolon as the delimiter and CRLF line endings. Excel and LibreOffice Calc display Polish characters correctly in such a file if you use the CSV import.

Agree the format

CSV (standard)

UTF-8 with BOM, semicolon, header row with column names

XLSX on request

a ready-made Excel workbook; very large lists are split across several sheets or files

JSON on request

for direct import into your own applications

Your own choice of columns

just name the fields you need

You receive the file by email as a download link. Other ways of handing over the file, or regular updates, are agreed individually.

Price

What an export costs

We select the records for an industry for each enquiry. The price is given on request – it depends on the industry, region and filters. All prices are final prices.

One-off industry export

One-off payment, no contract term.

Price on request

  • One or more of the fifteen industries
  • Selection by voivodeship, county and contact fields
  • 15 columns as CSV, XLSX or JSON
  • One-off file delivery, no subscription

Once you have the file

Working with the export

Load the CSV file through the data import rather than by double-clicking: only then will Excel keep Polish characters and the leading zeros in NIP, REGON and KRS numbers (details in the questions below). Records from different sources are easiest to match against your own CRM by NIP number; where the NIP is missing, the name and address remain. Our guide How to build a targeted B2B company list by industry and region explains how to narrow a list down, and the Database status page shows the scope and date of the data.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the export

Please do not open the file by double-clicking – Excel may then display Polish characters incorrectly and remove leading zeros.

In an empty workbook choose Data › From Text/CSV, set the file origin to Unicode (UTF-8) and the delimiter to semicolon. It is worth setting the NIP, REGON, KRS and postcode columns as text, then confirm with Load. In LibreOffice Calc the import dialog opens automatically.

We deliver CSV in UTF-8 with BOM, with a semicolon as the delimiter and CRLF line endings. Excel and LibreOffice recognise this combination without problems. If your application expects a comma or tab, we will prepare the file accordingly.

The published status of the Polish database is 17 September 2026. The date the export was created is not the date every contact was checked.

We do not guarantee a fixed update cycle for all sources. Details are on the Data sources and methodology page.

Yes. As standard we deliver all fifteen columns; on request we prepare a file with only the fields you need for your CRM import. You can also exclude records without a phone number or without a website.

Not without the recipients’ prior consent. Article 398 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law prohibits sending commercial information by email to a subscriber or end user who has not consented to it beforehand; the provision does not distinguish between consumers and businesses. The Email column is there to identify the company and organise business contacts, for example in a CRM – not for sending advertising.

That depends on the industry, region and filters. Keep in mind Excel’s limit of 1,048,576 rows per worksheet: on request we split very large lists by voivodeship or deliver them as JSON.
